Paul Thornberry BSc (Hons) MRICS

Paul is a chartered quantity surveyor who has specialised in capital allowances since 1992. Paul has spent four years heading the capital allowances group at one of the ‘Big Four’ accountancy firms prior to establishing PTC in 1999. Paul has extensive experience across the property spectrum with a wide range of clients including ‘blue chip’ companies and provides pre-transaction advice to vendors and purchasers to enable them to establish, and where possible maximise, their capital allowances entitlement to help them to achieve the most favourable tax position with regard to the capital allowances aspects of the deal.

Anthony Barber BSc (Hons) MRICS

Anthony is a chartered quantity surveyor who qualified in 1991 and has specialised in capital allowances for the last seven years. During this time he has gained extensive experience in preparing claims in respect of acquisitions, construction and refurbishment projects across the property spectrum covering offices, retail, industrial, healthcare, hotels and leisure properties. Dealing with single multi-million pound property transactions and large portfolio acquisitions and has negotiated numerous claims to a favourable conclusion with the Inland Revenue, Valuation Office and Regional Building Surveyors.
